Saitec Offshore Technologies at ENERMAR 2026: scaling up concrete floaters

Saitec Offshore Technologies will participate in the 16th ENERMAR Technical Sessions, taking place in Valencia from 30 September to 2 October 2026.

Organised by the Marine Renewable Energies Working Group of the Spanish Association of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (AINE), ENERMAR brings together professionals from across the marine renewable energy sector to discuss the technological and industrial challenges shaping its development.

Under the theme “The Ocean and Renewable Energies: The contribution of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering”, this year’s programme will address areas ranging from offshore logistics and infrastructure to hydrodynamics, energy storage, artificial intelligence and floating offshore wind.

On 2 October at 10:15, Saitec Offshore Technologies will take part in Panel 5: Floating Wind – Structural Design and Analysis, with the presentation “Scaling Up the Deployment of Concrete Floaters”, delivered by Oriol de Quintana i Bosch.

The presentation will focus on one of the main challenges facing the floating offshore wind sector: moving from individual projects towards the large-scale and industrialised deployment of floating foundations.

Drawing on Saitec Offshore Technologies’ experience in concrete floating wind technology, the session will explore the role of scalable design, industrialisation and efficient production strategies in enabling the deployment of future commercial-scale floating wind farms.

The panel will also address other key topics for the sector, including mooring load estimation, certification frameworks for novel floating wind technologies and integrated simulation workflows.

Join us in Valencia on 2 October to discuss how concrete floating solutions can support the next stage of floating offshore wind deployment.
