We are convinced that floating wind is one of the most promising clean energy sources<\/strong>, and we are committed to making it as cost-competitive as possible. For this reason, we are actively involved in several R&D&I projects focused on optimization and improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saitec is participating in the DIONYSOS<\/a> R&D project<\/strong>, led by France \u00c9nergies Marines (FEM)<\/a>, which aims to develop an advanced monitoring system<\/strong> to evaluate the fatigue life of mooring lines for floating wind turbines<\/strong>. The main idea is to combine real sensor data with digital twin models<\/strong> to detect anomalies, estimate fatigue damage, and improve the calibration of numerical models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saitec has contributed its expertise with the DemoSATH prototype<\/a><\/strong>. Within the framework of the project, efforts have been directed toward developing a platform capable of processing data from sensors installed on the prototype, installed in BiMEP facilities, and comparing them with a fully coupled digital twin of the system.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 10 December<\/strong>, from 10am to 12pm (CET), the project team is organising a final webinar <\/strong>to present the project’s main outputs, providing valuable and practical insights.<\/p>\n\n\n
