PAT18 ENERMAR is the Marine Renewable Energy Working Group of the Spanish Naval and Oceanic Engineers Association (AINE). Since 2010, it has organized the ENERMAR Technical Conferences , a specialized forum that brings together professionals, researchers, and companies from the marine renewable energy sector to discuss offshore wind, wave, tidal, and current energy development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Conference centers on naval and ocean engineering applied to marine renewable energies and includes visits to marine renewable energy infrastructure, such as offshore ports and floating platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program addresses various aspects of marine renewable energy, including technological advancements, digital tools, industrialization, and the application of AI from leading professionals and organizations in the field.

Featured Presentation by Irati Larrinaga at ENERMAR 2025<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Irati Larrinaga<\/strong>, Head of Technology at Saitec Offshore Technologies, will deliver a keynote titled: “Innovations in Hydrodynamics and Structural Behaviour of FOWTs: DemoSATH \u2013 Results, Lessons Learned, and Technological Evolution of the First Grid-Connected Floating Wind Turbine in Spain.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During her presentation on Day 2, Friday, June 27th<\/strong>, at the Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico de Viana do Castelo Auditorium, Irati will discuss the DemoSATH project<\/a>, Spain\u2019s inaugural grid-connected floating wind turbine. She will share insights into the project’s hydrodynamic performance, structural integrity, and the lessons learned during its deployment. The DemoSATH platform, utilizing the SATH <\/a>(Swinging Around Twin Hull) technology, has been operational since 2023 and has recently received final prototype certification from Bureau Veritas<\/a>, marking a significant milestone in floating wind technology development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
