To mark the 2 years in operation of DemoSATH as the first floating wind turbine grid-connected in Spain, we gathered with our partners and collaborators in Aberdeen, coinciding with the Floating Wind conference, where we had the opportunity to reflect on the journey so far and recognise the crucial role each of them has played in DemoSATH\u2019s success.<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

We were delighted to be joined by some of our closest collaborators. First, WFO<\/a> (World Forum Offshore Wind), with whom we co-organised the event, and who helped us keep the spotlight on the wider industry. We also took the opportunity to acknowledge The Kansai Electric Power Co. Inc. (KEPCO)<\/strong> for their continued trust in the project, and BiMEP <\/strong>for hosting DemoSATH <\/a>off the Basque coast. Throughout the evening, attendees were invited to leave a short message and have their photo taken, creating a living \u201cDemoSATH history album\u201d that captures the people behind the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On a fun note, David Carrascosa<\/strong>, COO Saitec Offshore Technologies, introduced the team as a superhero line-up capable of anything, a moment that made everyone smile and helped make the event truly special. Our Project Director, Jes\u00fas L\u00f3pez-Tafall<\/strong>, then shared a thoughtful reflection on the journey so far, including the most challenging moments, but also the many rewards that have come with leading this project. To conclude, Immanuel Capano<\/strong>, CCO Saitec Offshore Technologies, closed the speeches by recognising the work carried out by the entire team, the support of the organisations that have placed their trust in the project and helped drive it forward, and the invaluable contribution of our partners, who have made it all possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\t\t
