Waterford Energy Services Inc. (WESI)<\/a> y Saitec Offshore Technologies recibieron financiaci\u00f3n del Gobierno de Canad\u00e1 para su proyecto "Modificaci\u00f3n de unidades m\u00f3viles de perforaci\u00f3n en alta mar para suministro y almacenamiento de energ\u00eda renovable compartida".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La financiaci\u00f3n se proporcion\u00f3 a trav\u00e9s de un proceso competitivo en el que se evaluaron poco menos de cien propuestas para acceder a un fondo de financiaci\u00f3n de $24,4 millones. El programa se centr\u00f3 en iniciativas que ayudar\u00edan a reducir las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) de las operaciones de gas y petr\u00f3leo en alta mar de Terranova y Labrador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La asociaci\u00f3n entre WESI y Saitec suma el conocimiento t\u00e9cnico procedente de la industria del petr\u00f3leo y gas en alta mar de WESI con las capacidades en la industria e\u00f3lica marina de Saitec.
