Chile se posiciona como un l\u00edder emergente en el desarrollo de la energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica marina. Seg\u00fan un informe del Banco Mundial y el Centro MERIC, el pa\u00eds cuenta con un potencial estimado de 957 GW, de los cuales un impresionante 86% corresponde a tecnolog\u00eda flotante. Este avance abre posibilidades en zonas donde la geograf\u00eda profunda y estrecha hace inviable el uso de tecnolog\u00edas convencionales. Con m\u00e1s de 4,000 kil\u00f3metros de costa y vientos que alcanzan un factor de planta superior al 40%, el desarrollo de la energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica marina podr\u00eda ser un pilar clave para la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica del pa\u00eds y la descarbonizaci\u00f3n de su matriz el\u00e9ctrica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El desaf\u00edo est\u00e1 en superar barreras como la reducci\u00f3n de costos operativos, la creaci\u00f3n de capacidades locales de fabricaci\u00f3n y mantenimiento, y el dise\u00f1o de un marco regulatorio robusto. Chile tiene la oportunidad de aprovechar este recurso con tecnolog\u00edas innovadoras y de posicionarse como referente en Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
