Inc., representa un hito significativo al ser la primera unidad e\u00f3lica flotante conectada a la red en Espa\u00f1a. Adem\u00e1s de contribuir con energ\u00eda renovable al mix energ\u00e9tico del pa\u00eds, sirve como plataforma de ensayo para <strong>proyectos innovadores e iniciativas sostenibles<\/strong> enfocadas en el desarrollo de esta industria emergente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">A medida que el sector de la e\u00f3lica marina flotante crece, es crucial garantizar que su desarrollo sea adecuado, sostenible y compatible con los intereses de otros actores, como la pesca, la acuicultura y otras actividades mar\u00edtimas. La iniciativa DemoSATH Lab engloba una serie de proyectos dise\u00f1ados para explorar estas \u00e1reas y ofrecer soluciones que <strong>fomenten la convivencia en el entorno marino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Entre estos proyectos, <strong>AQUASATH<\/strong> destaca como una iniciativa pionera que combina la <strong>energ\u00eda renovable con la acuicultura sostenible<\/strong>. Este proyecto se alinea con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de las Naciones Unidas, como el ODS 7: Energ\u00eda Asequible y No Contaminante. AQUASATH busca mejorar la huella de carbono y la eficiencia de la energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica marina flotante mediante su integraci\u00f3n con actividades de acuicultura que reducen los costes operativos y compensan las emisiones de carbono durante su ciclo de vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">La innovaci\u00f3n clave del proyecto radica en el desarrollo de un sistema de  <strong>Acuicultura Multitr\u00f3fica Integrada (IMTA, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s)<\/strong> en plataformas e\u00f3licas flotantes. Este enfoque permite el cultivo de especies como percebes, ostras planas y macroalgas, promoviendo un ecosistema equilibrado en el que los subproductos de una especie benefician a otra. Este uso innovador del espacio mar\u00edtimo <strong>genera energ\u00eda sin emisiones, proporciona alimentos nutritivos y ofrece servicios ecosist\u00e9micos al capturar y utilizar CO2 y nutrientes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El proyecto AQUASATH se implementar\u00e1 en el aerogenerador marino flotante DemoSATH, operativo desde 2023. Esta plataforma ofrece un entorno ideal para el desarrollo experimental de acuicultura. Al colaborar con autoridades regionales y actores implicados, el proyecto se alinea con los objetivos de sostenibilidad y apoya las estrategias de desarrollo econ\u00f3mico local.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">La iniciativa pretende lograr beneficios \u00fanicos, como lareducci\u00f3n de la huella de carbono, una producci\u00f3n alimentaria innovadora en entornos mar\u00edtimos y sinergias entre las industrias de energ\u00eda renovable y acuicultura.
