Bajo esta premisa fundamental nace la iniciativa <a href=\"https:\/\/saitec-offshore.com\/es\/demosath-lab-wfo-presentation\/\" target=\"_self\">DemoSATH Lab<\/a> la iniciativa DemoSATH Lab, un ambicioso programa de investigaci\u00f3n e innovaci\u00f3n que genera datos reales y contrastados sobre la e\u00f3lica marina flotante. Este laboratorio se desarrolla en el marco del primer aerogenerador marino flotante de Espa\u00f1a,  <a href=\"https:\/\/saitec-offshore.com\/es\/projects\/demosath\/\" target=\"_self\">DemoSATH<\/a>, operativo en Vizcaya desde 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Protegiendo las aves y especies marinas alrededor de las turbinas e\u00f3licas offshore<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Uno de los mayores desaf\u00edos en la operaci\u00f3n de turbinas e\u00f3licas en mar abierto es su interacci\u00f3n con las aves marinas y las especies de su entorno. En los dos primeros a\u00f1os de funcionamiento de DemoSATH, hemos implementado y validado diversos sistemas orientados a identificar la presencia de distintas especies de aves en el entorno y <strong>mitigar los posibles impactos sobre sus poblaciones.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\" style=\"max-width:600px; margin:auto;\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JYTtFbUcdho?si=VmXwDGlQlhx-7-Sv\" title=\"reproductor de videos de youtube\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Nuestras medidas de protecci\u00f3n son rigurosas: desde avanzados dispositivos disuasorios hasta sistemas que permiten la detenci\u00f3n preventiva del aerogenerador cuando la situaci\u00f3n lo requiere. Esta capacidad refuerza nuestro compromiso con una <strong> transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica responsable y totalmente compatible con la biodiversidad marina<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s, hemos desplegado proyectos de <strong>monitorizaci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad con ROV y t\u00e9cnicas de muestreo de ADN ambiental<\/strong> para conocer en profundidad las especies presentes entorno a la plataforma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IA en tiempo real: CCTV para detecci\u00f3n e identificaci\u00f3n de aves<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Siguiendo esta senda de innovaci\u00f3n, estamos integrando la  <strong>Inteligencia Artificial (IA) para aprovechar todo su potencial en la optimizaci\u00f3n de la monitorizaci\u00f3n y la protecci\u00f3n ambiental.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Una de las actividades clave se centra en la avifauna. Mediante una c\u00e1mara CCTV instalada en el aerogenerador, <strong>la IA realiza la detecci\u00f3n, identificaci\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis continuo de aves marinas en tiempo real<\/strong>. Este sistema proporciona informaci\u00f3n detallada y fiable sobre situaciones de riesgo como, por ejemplo, la presencia de grandes grupos volando a ciertas alturas cerca de la plataforma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mediante recorridos autom\u00e1ticos por la superficie de la plataforma, utilizadas por especies como la gaviota patiamarilla (Larus michahellis), el sistema tambi\u00e9n permite identificar aves anilladas. Una informaci\u00f3n de utilidad para el seguimiento de poblaciones de esta especie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objetivo: turbinas m\u00e1s seguras, mejores datos y una e\u00f3lica marina m\u00e1s sostenible<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">El objetivo es <strong>monitorizar la interacci\u00f3n fauna-aerogeneradores para minimizar riesgos, operar de forma m\u00e1s sostenible<\/strong> y, a su vez, generar un conocimiento de valor sobre el estado de las poblaciones de aves, un dato de dif\u00edcil acceso por otros medios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este sistema, ya instalado en DemoSATH en el Mar Cant\u00e1brico, est\u00e1 arrojando resultados muy prometedores que, combinados con otras t\u00e9cnicas, representan una gran fuente de conocimiento para este y futuros desarrollos. Algunos aspectos que destacan sobre su funcionamiento son los siguientes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Permite una detecci\u00f3n fiable y continua,<\/strong> tanto de d\u00eda como de noche, y funciona correctamente en cualquier estado del mar, incluso con oleaje intenso.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Mejora constante:<\/strong>  El sistema evoluciona de forma continua, optimizando aspectos cruciales como la precisi\u00f3n y la capacidad de detecci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Accesibilidad:<\/strong>  Opera tanto en modo online (tiempo real) como en modo batch para procesar grandes vol\u00famenes de v\u00eddeo hist\u00f3rico.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">M\u00e1s usos de la IA: de aves a anal\u00edtica de bancos de peces<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Otro campo de uso previsto de la IA es la <strong>identificaci\u00f3n y cuantificaci\u00f3n de diferentes especies de peces <\/strong> alrededor de la plataforma o en otras estructuras marinas (como puertos), a partir de v\u00eddeos submarinos. Esto permite obtener indicadores detallados sobre la biodiversidad y la fluctuaci\u00f3n de presencia de especies, informaci\u00f3n clave sobre el papel que desempe\u00f1an en el ecosistema marino estas infraestructuras, y muy \u00fatil para la formaci\u00f3n y divulgaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Las posibilidades de <strong>aplicar la IA a la biodiversidad y el impacto ambiental son inmensas<\/strong>. Ya estamos sentando las bases de nuevos proyectos que incorporar\u00e1n el an\u00e1lisis en tiempo real de ultrasonidos de murci\u00e9lagos, sonido en medio marino y fotograf\u00edas de c\u00e1maras de fototrampeo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Todas estas iniciativas representan un avance considerable para <strong>mitigar los riesgos para las especies presentes en parques e\u00f3licos offshore<\/strong>, consolidando una transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica m\u00e1s respetuosa con el medio marino.
