Nos han adjudicado el contrato de la Fase 2 del EuropeWave <\/strong>Programa de Adquisiciones Precomerciales (PCP)<\/a>, un programa competitivo para avanzar en la energ\u00eda de olas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saitec Offshore Technologies<\/strong> junto a CETO Wave Energy Irlanda<\/strong> como socios del consorcio desarrollar\u00e1n la fase 2 de EuropeWave PCP. Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Hutchinson, DNV (incluido el apoyo de Yavin Four Consultants), IHCantabria y la ingeniera consultora Julia F. Chozas tambi\u00e9n participan en este proyecto. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con casi 20 millones de euros de financiaci\u00f3n para las 3 fases del programa, EuropeWave PCP es una colaboraci\u00f3n entre Wave Energy Scotland (WES), la Agencia Vasca de la Energ\u00eda (EVE) y Ocean Energy Europe (OEE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El objetivo de EuropeWave PCP es acelerar el desarrollo de un convertidor de energ\u00eda de las olas rentable,<\/strong> que pueda sobrevivir en el duro entorno oce\u00e1nico y, en \u00faltima instancia, EuropeWave PCP contratar\u00e1 a tres de los contratistas de las Fases 1 y 2 para implementar sus prototipos en BiMEP o EMEC en la Fase 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Fase 2 incluye el Dise\u00f1o de Ingenier\u00eda front-end (FEED), pruebas de tanques de olas, pruebas de componentes y actividades relacionadas de certificaci\u00f3n y comercializaci\u00f3n. La fase 2 se extender\u00e1 desde finales de septiembre de 2022 hasta junio de 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una vez completada esta fase, tres de las cinco empresas ser\u00e1n seleccionadas para continuar con la Fase 3 final, que incluye el despliegue en condiciones de mar abierto en Biscay Marine Energy Platform (BiMEP) en el Pa\u00eds Vasco o el Centro Europeo de Energ\u00eda Marina (EMEC) en Escocia. Se espera que la fase final comience en septiembre de 2023 y concluya en mayo de 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
