The world of project cargo is changing fast. Traditional multipurpose vessels (MPPs) are no longer enough to meet the challenges of transporting massive, high-value components, especially for offshore wind projects. The industry is turning to smarter, more flexible solutions: container and RoRo vessels, rail, road, and inland waterways all play a crucial role in keeping projects moving.

This year at Project Cargo Summit 2025, we are part of the conversation. David Carrascosa, our COO, will take the stage as a speaker and participate in a panel discussion titled “Serving the Local Stakeholders: Port of Bilbao as Basque Country’s Export-Import Hub”. He will share practical insights and innovative strategies for managing the complex logistics of offshore wind, including the efficient and safe transport of turbines, nacelles, and foundations from port to installation site.
