DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PROYECTO

Medfloat Pilot Parc is a pre-commercial pilot park with 3 to 5 units and a total potential of 50MW to be installed in the Mediterranean Sea in 2027. The offshore wind turbines will use tecnología SATH en mar abierto en Girona, concretamente en una zona situada a más de 15 km del Cap de Creus en la Costa Brava (Cataluña).
Medfloat Pilot Parc will involve the creation of a test infrastructure in the Levantino-Balearic Demarcation for the testing, demonstration, and validation of tecnología SATH. It will also demonstrate the technical, environmental and social feasibility of future developments of floating offshore wind energy, and particularly of tecnología SATH, in the Mediterranean.
