5th Floating Offshore Wind Power Conference

The  5th Floating Offshore Wind Power Conference will gather in Wenzhou, China a wide range of organizations dedicated to deep-sea wind power and floating offshore wind power, including government representatives, academicians (Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences, Norwegian Academy of Engineering), major energy companies (China Three Gorges Corporation, China Huaneng Group, Zhejiang Energy Group), research institutions (National Wind Power Engineering Technology Research Center, IEC), universities (Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tsinghua University, Ocean University of China), design institutes, and numerous other wind power companies.

The conference will cover topics related innovative development, design and analysis of floating foundations, cable dynamics and protection, integrated development of marine energy, construction techniques, technological exploration and verification, blade condition monitoring, key technological issues, dynamic response of floating platforms in extreme sea conditions, load transfer in large floating wind turbines, and co-design and control of new floating wind power systems.
