BLUE GROWTH AND DECARBONIZATION: Challenges and Opportunities for Technological Development

Join us for a multidisciplinary and cross-sector event organized by REOLTEC, PROTECMA, and FOTONIA21, focusing on initiatives and technological advancements to achieve climate neutrality goals and safeguard the health of oceans and the planet. The event, “Blue Growth and Decarbonization: Challenges and Opportunities for Technological Development,” will take place online on June 20th from 10 am to 12 pm (CET).

In a global context where blue growth, sustainability, and decarbonization have become paramount, this inter-platform event aims to facilitate knowledge exchange, experiences sharing, and collaboration among various sectors and organizations—both public and private. It addresses technological challenges to maximize the potential of the existing and emerging blue growth-related industry.

Key topics to be discussed include sustainable economic development leveraging marine resources, ecosystem regeneration, reducing industrial activities’ environmental impacts, and greenhouse gas emissions reduction and capture.

DemoSATH project presentation

Saitec Offshore will present its DemoSATH Project, a pioneering floating wind platform that demonstrates innovative solutions for offshore renewable energy and supports the transition to a low-carbon future, e, with David Carrascosa, CCO, leading the presentation. Through our presence, we reaffirm our commitment to innovation and to fostering blue growth, aligning our efforts with global sustainability targets.
