Mooring Monitoring for floating wind turbines - DIONYSOS project webinar

We are convinced that floating wind is one of the most promising clean energy sources, and we are committed to making it as cost-competitive as possible. For this reason, we are actively involved in several R&D&I projects focused on optimization and improvement.

Saitec is participating in the DIONYSOS R&D project, led by France Énergies Marines (FEM), which aims to develop an advanced monitoring system to evaluate the fatigue life of mooring lines for floating wind turbines. The main idea is to combine real sensor data with digital twin models to detect anomalies, estimate fatigue damage, and improve the calibration of numerical models.

Saitec has contributed its expertise with the DemoSATH prototype. Within the framework of the project, efforts have been directed toward developing a platform capable of processing data from sensors installed on the prototype, installed in BiMEP facilities, and comparing them with a fully coupled digital twin of the system.

On 10 December, from 10am to 12pm (CET), the project team is organising a final webinar to present the project’s main outputs, providing valuable and practical insights.
