WFO APAC Summit 2025

WFO APAC Summit 2025 is an event for anyone involved in offshore wind across Asia‑Pacific. On July 2-3, experts from across the globe will delve into policy discussions, technical case studies, strategies for finance and auctions, safety and operational excellence, and excellent networking opportunities. Immanuel Capano, our CCO, will be part of the panel discussion dedicated to addressing the requirements for scaling offshore wind projects to commercial viability.

With the moderation of David Linden, Executive Director, Westwood Global Energy Group and the panellist Rob Langford, Vice President, Global Offshore Renewables, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS); Richard McAllister, Director Bardex Australia, Bardex® Corporation; Kazuki TAKEDOMI, Group Leader/ Senior Project Manager JGC Japan Corporation and Immanuel Capano, will examine the current state of offshore wind technology and market dynamics, highlighting advancements that have reduced costs and improved efficiency. The discussion will encompass policy and regulatory frameworks that facilitate large-scale deployment, including government incentives, permitting processes, and international collaboration. The presentation will explore the role of infrastructure, including grid integration, port facilities, and supply chain development, as well as innovations in turbine design, floating platforms, and digital tools for maintenance and monitoring.

Nevertheless, the panellist will talk about environmental and social considerations, such as community engagement, marine ecosystem impacts, and workforce development.
