6th Annual Floating Wind Europe

Saitec Offshore Technologies will take part in the 6th Annual Floating Wind Europe Forum, taking place in London on 23–24 June 2026.

Our CEO, David Carrascosa, will discuss one of the key challenges for the sector: moving floating wind from demonstration projects to large-scale commercial deployment.

On 24 June, from 09:55AM to 10:20AM, David will deliver a case study titled: “Scaling up the Deployment of Concrete Floaters”. The session will focus on the next steps for industrialising floating foundation construction, drawing on the experience gained through DemoSATH, our 2MW floating wind pilot operating in the challenging conditions of the Cantabrian Sea (Spain). It will also address key pathways to cost reduction, supply chain readiness, port-based construction and collaboration models needed to accelerate large-scale floating offshore wind deployment.

The forum will bring together industry leaders, technology providers, developers and offshore wind experts to exchange insights on the future of floating wind in Europe and beyond. Across two days of case studies, panel discussions, round tables and networking sessions, the event will address some of the sector’s most relevant challenges, including:
