IN2FLOAT: driving the industrialisation of floating wind

FOW Aberdeen 2026

We will be back in Aberdeen on 7–8 October for Floating Offshore Wind 2026, one of the key meeting points for the global floating offshore wind industry.

Our return to Aberdeen comes one year after a particularly special edition for us. In 2025, alongside the conference, we brought together partners, collaborators and industry stakeholders to celebrate DemoSATH’s second year in operation and reflect on the experience gained from taking SATH from concept to full-scale offshore operation.

2026 marks ten years since we began its journey in floating wind: a decade of R&D, engineering, testing and continuous improvement that has allowed SATH to evolve from an innovative concept into a technology validated at full scale through DemoSATH.

The operational experience we have accumulated since DemoSATH was connected to the grid in 2023 has now been translated into an optimised SATH design, developed with a clear objective: to make floating offshore wind scalable, industrialisable and competitive.

This latest evolution maintains the core principles that define SATH while introducing further improvements focused on the needs of commercial-scale projects, including port-based manufacturing and serial production, strategies aimed at reducing CAPEX and OPEX, and greater flexibility to adapt manufacturing processes to local supply chains and port capabilities.

This year’s Floating Offshore Wind conference comes at an important moment for the industry, as attention increasingly shifts from demonstration and technology validation towards industrialisation and commercial-scale deployment.

Aberdeen will therefore be another opportunity to meet and share with Immanuel Capano, our CCO, not only what we have learned from operating DemoSATH, but also how those lessons are shaping the next generation of SATH and our approach to the commercial future of floating wind.

See you in Aberdeen!
