WFO APAC Summit 2026

The Asia-Pacific region is becoming one of the most dynamic areas for offshore wind development, with Japan playing an increasingly important role in shaping the next stage of the sector. With ambitious offshore wind targets, strong industrial capabilities, and deep-water conditions that make floating solutions especially relevant, Japan is a key market for the future of floating offshore wind.

Against this backdrop, Saitec Offshore Technologies will take part in the WFO Asia Pacific Summit 2026, to be held in Tokyo on 1–2 July 2026. The event will bring together international experts, developers, technology providers, and key stakeholders to discuss how offshore wind can scale up across the region and beyond.

Saitec Offshore Technologies will be represented by Immanuel Capano, Chief Commercial Officer, who will share “DemoSATH’s Insights – Spain” during Day 2, as part of the Floating Offshore Wind Session.

His presentation will focus on the lessons learned from DemoSATH, Saitec Offshore Technologies’ floating offshore wind demonstrator installed in Spain. From engineering and installation to real operating experience, DemoSATH is providing valuable knowledge on how floating wind technology performs in real offshore conditions, and how these insights can support the next generation of commercial-scale projects.

As markets such as Japan move from ambition to deployment, sharing real project experience becomes essential to reduce uncertainty, accelerate learning, and build stronger collaboration across the global offshore wind industry.

The “Project Lessons Learned” sessions will also feature leading voices from Japan, Taiwan, and France, including experiences from the Akita Port and Noshiro Port offshore wind farms, projects in Taiwan, and the Fécamp offshore wind project in France.
