The event, "Blue Growth and Decarbonization: Challenges and Opportunities for Technological Development," will take place online on June 20th from 10 am to 12 pm (CET).
In a global context where blue growth, sustainability, and decarbonization have become paramount, this inter-platform event aims to facilitate knowledge exchange, experiences sharing, and collaboration among various sectors and organizations—both public and private. It addresses technological challenges to maximize the potential of the existing and emerging blue growth-related industry.
Key topics to be discussed include sustainable economic development leveraging marine resources, ecosystem regeneration, reducing industrial activities' environmental impacts, and greenhouse gas emissions reduction and capture.
