Basque Energy Cluster and Ocean Energy Europe are organizing a joint event focused on the industrial development of renewable ocean energy, taking place on 18-20 October 2022 in San Sebastián - Donostia in Basque Country (Spain). The event will combine the International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE) and Ocean Energy Europe’s (OEE) annual event.
More than 900 delegates and businesses from all around the world are expected to gather at the Kursaal Congress Centre and Auditorium.
On Friday, a technical tour is organized to visit the reference facilities in ocean energy of the Basque Country like BiMEP, the test area where our DemoSATH floating wind project is going to be installed. Saitec Offshore Technologies will be explaining all the details for those interested in learning more about this pioneering demonstration project.
The tour will take place on Friday, October 21, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., departing by bus from Donostia/San Sebastián and back. The tour includes transport, departure by boat to visit the BiMEP rehearsal area, and lunch
